What is it?
Crunchtime has released a new mobile app for Inventory Management that enables users to easily count inventory, place purchase orders, reconcile orders, and monitor key metrics and outstanding tasks. Previously, these tasks were completed with three separate apps, Counter, Reconciler, Impact. Now, customers can use the Crunchtime Inventory app for all of their inventory needs.
Will this new app replace the existing apps?
Yes, the new mobile app will replace our three legacy apps used for inventory management (Counter, Reconciler, Impact). The new app will have all of the previous functionality of these apps, plus some new capabilities for inventory management.
When is the new Inventory app going to be available?
The Crunchtime Inventory app is currently available to download in the App Store and Google Play.
Why is this change happening?
To provide you with an even better mobile experience, we’re combining our three inventory apps (Counter, Reconciler, Impact) into one unified app, built on a more advanced platform. This will bring you:
- Improved performance, with easier navigation and quicker load times.
- Easier future updates, so new features and improvements will roll out faster.
- A simpler experience, eliminating the need to switch between different apps.
This change will help us serve you better and make using our app more convenient than ever.
What is new or changing with this Inventory mobile app?
The new Inventory mobile app will have all of the same great features and functionality from Counter, Reconciler and Impact, plus one new exciting feature not previously available – the Invoice Scanner. This new tool makes it easy to turn paper invoices into digital information in Net-Chef. All you need to do is take a photo of the invoice, and the app will create the digital copy for you.
The overall functionality of the app will stay the same but you can expect to see minor changes that improve the user experience and make it easier for you to complete your key inventory tasks on your mobile device.
What will happen to the old mobile apps?
As of June 1, 2025, Crunchtime is no longer supporting Counter, Reconciler, and Impact. This means if you encounter any issues or have questions about these apps after this date, our support team will guide you to use the new Inventory mobile app instead.
Can I continue using the old apps?
Yes, you can continue using the old apps, but Crunchtime will not support as of June 1, 2025. Additionally, we cannot guarantee their availability in the app stores as of May 28, 2025.
Do I have to give my teams access to all the functionality in the new app?
No, you do not have to give your teams access to all the functionality in the new Inventory app. You can limit access to different features, like counting, ordering or data dashboards with user group controls in Enterprise Manager.
You can find information on these controls on the front page of the new Mobile Reference Guide here:
