- The "Location Name" attribute exists in all tables, producing the most efficient SQL. If the report does not have a "Location Hierarchy" or "Location Name" (Location code is not the same thing), adding them improves performance and, in some cases, may address data issues.
- In prompted reports, users should either select Hierarchies or Location Name. Adding both can produce incorrect data.
- If a "Comparative Metric" (anything with an abbreviation in front of a metric name such as DOB Sales, WTD Actual Value, etc.) is part of the report, it should have a "Date" attribute on the report. For reports with only Trending metrics, any time of timeline attributes (Date, Reporting Period, Fiscal Period, Month, etc.) does the job.

View filters can restrict the data found in the reports. To view the "View Filter," select Tools and check the "View Filter" option. From here, you can add and remove filters.
