Problems with application availability should be investigated prior to contacting Crunchtime support. Troubleshooting steps:
- Verify there is no issue with network connectivity
- Verify the OS that hosts the application is operational
- Verify the load balancer is configured correctly
- Verify that server-admin can be reached
- Verify that server-admin is not displaying an error connecting to the database
- Verify that the database is not experiencing any performance/uptime issues
Additional troubleshooting in the application VM that can be done includes:
Check to see if java is running: ps aux | grep java
Restart Net-Chef: /etc/init.d/ctnc restart
Restart EM Web: /etc/init.d/ctem restart
If the application is not available after you complete the troubleshooting steps above, you will need to pull the application server logs from \crunchtime\platform\write\logs and open a ticket with Crunchtime support to investigate the cause.
