Why can't I log into my Crunchtime Mobile App (Counter, Reconciler, Impact)?
Counter and Reconciler use SSO (Single Sign On) with your Net Chef Credentials; the user should check that they can log in to Net-Chef without being prompted to update their security question or password. This would be a necessary check as Net-Chef will alert them of any needed updates, whereas the apps will prevent the ability to log in until the account is updated. If prompted to do so, they should update all relevant information.
The password is case-sensitive, but the user name is not.
Two common error messages may occur when logging into Reconciler: "Connect to server failed" and “Incorrect user Name or Password.” The troubleshooting steps for each are below.
Error 1: "Connect to Server Failed"
- The URL is entered on its page and accessed by tapping the gear icon at the bottom right.
- Users are not required to enter https://. The application will populate this automatically.
- Users should enter their URL precisely as they type it into their browser window.
- If you add "www." to the front of a Net-Chef URL in your browser or the mobile applications, it will fail to connect.
Error 2: "Incorrect User Name or Password"
- Sometimes, the application will auto-populate the username upon login.
- Make sure that the user is typing out their username entirely. Auto-populate occasionally includes a trailing space in auto-populated fields, resulting in an incorrect username.
- Deleting the extra space will correct the information.
