Device Overview

Troubleshooting

This section will guide you through the process of performing some basic troubleshooting steps if your device(s) are not operating as expected.

Quick Steps:

1. Check if the device has joined the network by depressing the push button for three (3) seconds or until the status LED blinks.
   
   
2. Replace the battery if the status LED is not illuminated or three (3) rapid yellow blinks are present.
   
   1. Remove the MQflex's battery door using a flat head screwdriver or coin.
   2. Pull and completely remove the battery tab between the battery and battery terminal to power the device.
   3. Reinstall the battery door on the device. Ensure the door is fully seated, and the gap between the battery and battery door is tight.
3. If the device consistently fails to join the network:
   A) If properly provisioned, ensure the device is located at an acceptable distance from the nearest gateway.
   B) Hold the button for three (3) seconds to restart the join process and monitor the results.

green - green	Join accept / already connected
red - red	Network join failure, device will retry
yellow-yellow-yellow (rapid)	Low battery
None	Likely dead battery
