How does Booking Journal determine POS Transaction Value?
The Transaction value will be the (Quantity In/Out x Initial Issue Cost).
The Booking Journal captures the Issue Cost during the first transaction of the day. Any time CrunchTime depletes the same Component (from any Recipe) for the rest of the day (in POS transactions), the Booking Journal will use the original cost for depletion. In other words, the Booking Journal doesn't create multiple POS Records for a single day; thus, it can't capture multiple costs for POS transactions per day. So once a product is depleted at 0.00. It will be depleted that way for the rest of the day, even if the cost is updated on the same day.
