Today’s Tasks displays a card-format list of all operational tasks that must be performed on the current date. This includes tasks defined on task-based Staffing Templates.
In Net-Chef, select Ideal Staffing Template from the Labor tab. Then select New Staffing Level Template (Task)
Name the task. For this example, we'll use 'Check P&L Report.' Then, we can pick which Position will complete the task and the days and times we would like this task to be generated on the Dashboard. Make sure that Dash. The task is selected.
From the Dashboard:
Clicking the task will open a pop-up where the name of the Employee who completed it and any applicable notes can be entered. By clicking Completed, the task will disappear from the dashboard.
FAQ
When do Staffing Level Template Tasks get created?
Like most "Tasks" for the Today's Task widget, Staffing Level Template Tasks are created on the date they become actionable either by Enterprise Manager's "Dashboard Calculation and Daily Alerts Time" calculation OR any time a user who is logged into the relevant Location or has the relevant Location in their Consolidated Dashboard Hierarchy navigates to the NC Dashboard screen.
Where do Staffing Level Template Tasks appear in the "Today's Tasks" List?
Staffing Level Templates are sorted by default after "Incomplete Daily Prep" tasks in the "Today's Tasks" list for a particular Due Date and by Due Date/Time ascending.
Can we create and use Task-based Staffing Level Templates if we don't sue Crunchtime Labor?
The only Labor configuration you would need to achieve this is to have Positions set up within the Labor tab in Enterprise Manager.
