Why can't I select a Location in the "Use Historical Consumption From" dropdown in Enterprise Manager's Location setup?
Crunchtime allows application administrators to configure the ability to "borrow" historical consumption for a new Location (or even for an existing location that has atypical historical data) from another Location in the Company for a limited amount of time (i.e. until the new location has enough of its historical data to produce quality projected consumption, etc. values)
This can be done in the Suggested Order tab of the Location detail screen by selecting a Location and a through date.
- You must be logged into the Enterprise Manager's Corporate Location
- Your User Group has access to the "Add/Delete/Save" and "Historical Consumption Location" Control Name for the Location Details Screen Name
- The Location being edited is not selected as the "Use Historical Consumption from" Location for any other Location (regardless of date)
- That is, a Location cannot borrow consumption from another Location if some other Location is already borrowing its consumption
Note: Multiple Locations can borrow consumption from a particular Location.
