How do I stop Auto-Ordering?
To stop the process once and create a manual order instead while leaving all setup in place for Auto-Ordering to continue as of the following Order day, make a Vendor Order for the Auto-Order Vendor. The Expected Delivery Date of the manual order must be the exact expected delivery date that the Auto-Order process would assign (based on the Vendor's Order/Delivery schedule configured for the ordering Location). For example, if the Auto-Order Vendor's Order/Delivery schedule is Order Day = Monday for Tuesday delivery, and Order Day = Wednesday for Thursday delivery, and the user wants to stop Monday's Auto-Order, a manual order should be created for the expected delivery date Tuesday. As long as the status of that order is not reconciled or canceled, the auto-order process will not place an order on Monday for Tuesday delivery. It will create an auto order on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday.
To stop the Auto-Order process completely for a Vendor, for all or selected Locations, disable the Auto-Order checkbox in the Vendor Detail record. If Vendor/Location records exist, the checkbox must be disabled in those records.
