How do I match up year over year when going from a 53-week year to a 52-week year?

When the application compares a week from this year to the same week from last year, it uses the periods on the Reporting Calendar to determine which weeks to compare. When the Previous/Current Year has 53 weeks and the upcoming year has 52 weeks, you can edit the period numbering on the upcoming year's Reporting Calendar to start on Period 2 instead of Period 1. This will make the periods run from 2 to 53 instead of 1 to 52 and align with the Current Reporting calendar.

Tip:  Create a reminder to change the first period for the 52-period year from 2 back to 1 for year-over-year reporting in the following year.
