If you're experiencing issues with your printer not connecting to the Labels app, follow this checklist, and before proceeding with more serious troubleshooting, go through the following steps:
Attempt Connection on Another Device:
To determine if the issue is specific to your device or the printer itself, try connecting to the printer using another device. If the connection is successful on a different device, the problem may be with your original device.
Update Labels App.
Ensure that you have the latest version of the Labels app installed on your device. Check Apple App Store, or Google Play Store for updates and install the latest version if available.
Reinstall the App:
Try uninstalling the Labels app and then re-download it from the app store.
Restart Your Device:
Sometimes, a simple device restart can clear temporary glitches. Restart your smartphone or tablet before attempting to connect to the printer again.
Check App Permissions:
Ensure that the Zenput Labels app has the necessary permissions for Bluetooth in your device settings. Grant the app permission if not already allowed. To do this go to Settings - locate the Zenput Labels app, and check the toggle for Bluetooth (and Location on Android devices)
Check Bluetooth Settings:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your device.
- Verify that the printer is not connected directly through the device's Bluetooth settings. If it is, disconnect or "forget" the device.
- Hard close the Labels app and reopen it. Connect to the printer directly from within the Labels app.
Enable Bluetooth Scanning (Android Devices):

Enable Location Services:
Ensure that Location Services are turned on in your device settings. Some devices require location information to establish a connection with Bluetooth devices. If you're using Android - make sure you allow Zenput Labels to access your Location.
