What can I do if I get the error message "Labor Actuals failed to load because another user was saving data simultaneously. Please try to save the file again"?
The Review/Save Labor and the Time Clock file processes use the same database job to create or update labor records. However, there is a maximum number of attempts that these processes will make to lock onto the job before they stop and display the "Labor Actuals failed to load because another user was saving data simultaneously, please try to save the file again" message.
When a large number of users are logged in and saving Labor, especially on a week-ending day, and a high volume of Time Clock files are processing simultaneously, the job can become overloaded. As a result, the processes may not lock onto it within the default number of attempts. If you encounter this issue, please wait a few minutes and try to reprocess the file. Usually, this will resolve the problem.
However, please let us know if this issue becomes more frequent or disrupts your business's daily operations. Our Technical Team can review and adjust your business's parameters to help prevent this error.
