The process of installing a new Crunchtime database includes pre-loading several built-in Application User accounts for general support purposes and/or to support certain system integrations. Here is a list of the Pre-Installed Users:
CT - Support User
This application User account is designed to allow Crunchtime support personnel to log into the application to assist client end users.
VENDORPORTAL USER - Xchange User
This account is a technical account intended to be used solely to create sessions and populate audit data
Therefore, the 'VP' Application User is not assigned a Password, linked to any Location(s), or assigned a User Group
Since a User Group is required for any Application User, an administrator who wishes to view any part of the record besides that on the User tab cannot navigate to the tab without selecting a User Group.
EMPLOYEEPORTAL - Teamworx User
This account is a technical account intended to be used solely to create sessions and populate audit data
Therefore, the 'EMPLOYEEPORTAL' Application User is not assigned a Password, linked to any Location(s), or assigned a User Group
Since a User Group is required for any Application User, an administrator who wishes to view any part of the record besides that on the User tab cannot navigate to the tab without selecting a User Group.
CONNEX - Connex User
Although it is not intended that individuals will physically log into the application(s) using this Application User account, this account is used as the "CDP" Application User for uploading POS, time clock, etc. data to CrunchTime! from client systems via Connex using CDP import formats
For this reason, the 'CONNEX' user is also automatically linked to the Super User User Group since certain CDP functions require particular User Group Access

The 'CONNEX' user, however, is not assigned a Password by default, although this will be required if the Connex system is not using an authentication token
And since CDP operations require the "CDP" Application User to be linked to the Location (i.e. in a User/Location) associated with the data that is being uploaded, the CONNEX user will automatically be linked to all Locations (and other Application User records associated with Locations, i.e. Location Departments and Customers), Markets, and Franchise Entities
