Why and how is this helpful?
Customers who use frying oil to cook different things must change the oil after specific usage based on the TPM (Total Polar Materials) count to ensure good food quality.
Using the "Oil Quality" field can increase accountability at the store level to make sure they change the oil in time, which helps the stores not just with food quality but also saves cost by not changing oil too often based on their gut feel or dipping a piece of metal into the oil.
How to add the Oil Quality field in Forms:
- Head to your form and Navigate to the new 'Oil Quaility' field in the advanced section, then either click or drag to insert this into your form.
- Once the field is added you will notice a preset range of oil TPM, currently this data is configured as a default.
Using this field in the mobile view:
Currently, the oils TPM needs to be entered manually, depending on the answer the user will have a set response managed by the Pass/Fail range in the form. Below are some examples of how this feature works in the mobile view.
If you have a Testo probe that has had its integration configured you will not need to manually enter your results
24% and below is set to a pass
25 - 27% is set to provide a warning to the customer advising them to change the oil when next possible
28% and above informs the user to change the oil immediately
Using the Oil quality field in your form ensures timely Oil change on the restaurant level, with not only ensuring better food quality, but also helping with saving cost on not changing the oil too often.
