Bixolon Printer FAQ

How do I insert a new label roll? 

1. Press both of the blue side buttons, this will open the printer.
   
   
   
   
2. Once the printer has been opened, insert the new role as shown below 
   
   
   
   
3. Ensure the stickers are facing upward, adjust the paper guide to the width of the paper.
   
   
   
   
4. Once this has been completed, you may close the lid until a click sound is heard.
   
   

How do I set up the Bixolon Printer? 

1. Connect the power to the AC adapter provided and then connect the AC adapter to the Printer as shown below
   
   
   
   
2. Turn the printer on using the switch at the back of the device 
   
   
   
   
3. Then proceed to the steps here/below for your specific device OS. 

iOS and Android setup instructions:

1. Log in with your Zenput login credentials
2. From the main menu, go to "Settings".
   
   
3. Press the Green Refresh button and then select the printer serial number that appears.
   
   
   
4. To ensure your printer is aligned, press Calibrate on the top left of the Settings page.
   
   
5. Press "Test Print” to see how the labels are aligned.
6. Adjust the alignment accordingly by following the calibration instructions on the screen.
   
   
7. Once your test print is aligned, you’re ready to go!

How to Perform a Self Test

The self-test checks whether the printer has any problems. - Firmware version, printer configuration information, printing quality and to ensure the Paper Roll was inserted correctly 

1. Turn on the power while pressing the feed button, then the Self Test will begin. (Hold the button until the printer self-test starts printing)
   
2. Once you do this, it will print out multiple labels with data containing configuration information we can use for troubleshooting.
