Why am I getting "You can’t have more than one course open" in TalentLink?

Safari – Pop-Up Blocker Off

If you are getting the “You can’t have more than one course open” popup on devices. In short,
if the person is using the mobile Safari browser on an iPad and they have NOT turned Safari’s
popup blocker OFF, Safari will block the course from opening but will not give any notice to the
user…so then when the user taps the play button a second time (because they think nothing
happened the first time), the LMS still thinks the first course is open…even though it was
blocked by the popup blocker.

It’s possible that this same condition is true on other tablet browsers as well.
The solution is to (1) turn off Safari’s popup blocker or (2) use Chrome for iPad, though you’ll
still need to turn off Chrome’s popup blocker. Here’s a screenshot that shows how to turn off
Safari’s popup blocker.
1) Go to the Settings app on your iPad
2) Scroll until you see Safari on the left, and then toggle the popup blocker to Off
