What type of pyrometer are we using at our restaurant?
When reporting an issue with a pyrometer, a customer success associate may ask which pyrometer is being used at a specific restaurant. Below are the types of products our customers are using and how to distinguish between them.

Emerson/Cooper Atkins
Products in Circulation:
1. Cooper Atkins Blue2
- Black body, with one indicator light, power button, and no temperature display screen
- Indicator light colors: blue or green (will flash when Bluetooth is active on the pyrometer)
- Blue sticker lining front of the pyrometer with the name of the probe "blue 2" and a Bluetooth symbol at the bottom.
2. Cooper Atkins Emerson Multi-Function Thermometer [MFT]
- Grey body, with one indicator light, temperature display screen, power button, and conversion button marked with three horizontal lines (F/C).
- Light will flash either green or blue when Bluetooth is active.
**Both Emerson Cooper Atkin devices use an universal k-type temping needle**
Thermoworks
Products in Circulation:
1. Thermoworks Thermapen Blue
- Grey body, with a fold out integrated temping needle, no temperature display screen, and a yellow transfer button.
- Transfer/capture button will light up when active.
2. Thermoworks TempTest Blue
- Grey body, with a temperature display screen and a yellow transfer/capture button on the front face
- Name "TempTest Blue" is labelled right below a integrated temping needle.
3. Thermoworks BlueTherm One
- Grey body, with a status indicator light, temperature display screen, and a yellow transfer/capture button.
- Indicator light will flash yellow when connected to a capable Bluetooth device.
- Name "BlueTherm One" is printed on the front facing side of device, between temperature display screen and k-type temping needle slot.
- BlueTherm One uses an universal, k-type temping needle.
**All ThermoWorks products have the brand logo printed on the rear side of the device**
