Customer data is retained for an indefinite period of time in the event a customer resumes service in the future. Upon the termination of service, Zenput will retain customer data until a request is made for the data to be removed.
Zenput maintains an active duplicate of its production infrastructure in another region. Data is replicated to slave data stores in alternate geographic locations using encrypted links between sites. Additionally, Data is backed up in accordance with Zenput’s backup policy which includes both incremental backups, hourly, daily, weekly and monthly snapshots. All data is encrypted in transit using well-known and trusted protocols (HTTPS, TLS1.2+) as well as ensuring data is encrypted at rest (AES-256).
- Customer Data is backed up in a manner sufficient to restore any or all of an Information System in the event of a data loss, according to Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives. Backups occur at least once a day. The recovery process is tested once a quarter.
